Equipment for Rent:
Dwayne Beyer routes our SWCD’s
sprayers and seeder for people who rent them.
The sprayers and seeder are stored at Beyer Fertilizer & Feed,
3446 Highway 16 North, in Fredericksburg, TX. To make rental arrangements, call Dwayne at
830-997-9880.
SWCD Rental Rates are:
500-Gallon Sprayer - $2.50 per
acre ($30 minimum)
300-Gallon Sprayer - $2.50 per
acre ($30 minimum)
Grass Seed Spreader - 700 pound capacity - $35 per day
Our smaller equipment is stored at the Natural
Resources Conservation Service and SWCD offices at 1906 North Llano, in Fredericksburg. To rent this equipment, call us at 830 997-3349,
x 3.
Drip Torch: $5.00 per day.
Cyclone Hand Seeder (whirlybird): $5.00 per day
Seeder for use on a 4-Wheeler: $15.00 per day
Note: The Gillespie
Chapter of Edwards Plateau Prescribed Burn Association (GPBA) has smaller
water sprayers for use at prescribed burns.
They are kept at Beyers', too.
If you are a current member of the Gillespie Chapter, you may be able
to borrow a slide-in sprayer for your GPBA burn.
