GILLESPIE COUNTY SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT #220
Past District Events Display for Gillespie County Fair. The SWCD District Manager makes an annual photo display for the fair to
explain our activities during the year.
When it’s not at the fair or other events, the display stands outside
the SWCE office. Here’s the display at
the fairgrounds, with Wanda Wunderlich.
She was our Pioneer in Agriculture winner for 2009, and she’s in the
photo at the top right under “Awards Program”. The display
includes photos of 2009 conservation awards, Spring and Fall field days,
Workshops, Fish Sales, and Brush Control.
The Prescribed Burn Association and information about our District
Equipment Rentals are shown, too.

The two photos below are from 2006. The lady on the right is Wanda Wunderlich. She was honored as our Pioneer in Agriculture in 2009.
