Annual Membership Meeting
The date for Gillespie Chapter’s
next annual membership meeting will be set soon. When it is arranged, past and present members
will be sent meeting details and agenda. The meeting probably will be in March,
2012. It will be an important meeting
to discuss major issues, so please try to attend.

Prescribed Burn Workshops
Pat at the Gillespie SWCD was
notified about two prescribed burn workshops in Feb. and March 2012. The Academy for Ranch Management will hold
these on Feb. 16-18 and March 8-10 at the Texas AgriLIFE Research Station
near Sonora. The Feb. class is a basic
course. The March course is more
advanced and builds on the Feb class.
Cost of each workshop is $395.00 and it includes meals and on-site
lodging. Click
