January 28, 2010 Gillespie Chapter of the
Edwards Plateau Prescribed Burning Association (EPPBA) annual
membership and training meeting at Gillespie County Agriculture Extension
Building, at 95 Frederick Road, in Fredericksburg. Members and prospective members are
encouraged to attend. Chili and
tamales will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. The meeting and program will run
from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Please RSVP
by January 26 if you plan to attend.

March 24, 2010 Conservation
poster and essay winners will be honored at a hamburger
dinner hosted by the Fredericksburg Lions Club. Winners will be presented with savings bond
certificates from Security State Bank & Trust, and engraved wooden
plaques from LCRA.
